Cleaning your Golf Clubs
Cleaner golf clubs make better contact with the ball and therefore help in improving your game significantly. If you have not cleaned your golf clubs properly, then the grass, mud or dirt on the golf clubs can result in a wrong shot at times. If you are serious about improving your game, then it is important that you learn how to clean your gold clubs properly. You can buy a Golf Club Cleaning Kit or try and clean your golf clubs on your own at home. To clean golf clubs effectively, you will need to have a plastic bucket, dishwashing detergent, a brush (make sure it does not have bristles) and a clean towel or a rag. Pour the cleaning liquid in warm water in the bucket. Soak all the golf clubs in the bucket for some time. This helps in loosening the dirt from the surface of the golf clubs so that you do not have to scrub too hard, something that can damage the surface. Take each of the golf clubs one at a time and scrub with the brush. If you feel that some dirt has dried and is taking more time to clean, you could soak the gold clubs for some more time. Rinse the golf clubs in free flowing water. You can use a garden hose for doing so. Ensure that you dry the golf clubs before you store them. You will realize that going on the golf course with a set of golf clubs that are clean and shiny not only improve your game but fill you with a sense of pride and confidence too.

How do I clean the fake grass from the driving range off of my Golf Club Heads?
When I'm finished hitting from the mats at the driving range, the club heads on my irons always have the fake green grass stuck/burned onto them - how do I get that off? Tried using one "golf club cleaning brush" to little avail...I am concerned about scratching the club head itself if I use anything sharp (maybe I shouldn't be?) - any thoughts???
All you need is to rub the club against the mat in another direction and all the green stuffs will come off. Some mats deposit a thick hard layer at the bottom of the club head. I normally just nip them off with my finger nails or wet my club and rub it on another mat to get those things off.
