Long story long: I'm getting close to buying some new irons, and want to keep them in the best shape I can. At the same time, I will give my current set of irons to my brother, and want to give it as clean as possible. Since I have not paid attention to the cleanness of my clubs (always), my team today could use a thorough cleaning. $ 50 is not bad if you can whip my current clubs in good condition and use this system to keep my shiny new board, but I do not wasting time / money on something you do not need or do not work.
No need any fancy tools, cleaning products, cleaners, scouring powders or detergents to clean luxury clubs. Since I have not mentioned if your current set is rusted, pitted, or just dirty with the chrome badge in good condition we assume that the clubs are cruddy.Put heads in water and soak for a few rain forest minutes.Take one end of a Turkish towel, rub the face with force removal of all dirt and pat dry. You should clean very well. For iron, soak, rub with the wet Turkish towel and use a sharp pointed wooden tee for all the muck of the furrows, clean with damp cloth and dry. If you have steel shafts that are showing rust stains, soak one end of a towel with Coca Cola axes scrub hard to remove rust, clean with a damp towel and then dry with a towel, put 3 in 1 oil (light machine oil) in a cloth and rub on the axes. Your old game looks very good that they do not want to give them up.
